12/27/09 the 1:11pm show.. hey, it's been a while [ ] popfestfast [allthingsgood] The perf for "Get Down" was alllllll over the place. Minho has no charisma as a rapper and Key doesn't know how to be a rapper. I've always been pretty "meh" about Key's rapping but he just... blurts words out with no regard to rhythm, flow, enunciation and it didn't bother me til this "Get Down" perf. Ever since his swine fiasco, Jonghyun hasn't been singing the first line in RDD the same as he used to and it bothers me! Bothers me enough to completely stop watching broadcast RDD perfs. At least in rehearsals the audio quality of fancams make it seem like he's singing better, lol. Also, it seems to me that Onew may be the fashion terrorist in the group. He's not heinously bad, but based on rehearsal cams, he seems to be the least inspiring with his outfits, always. :P And this is completely unrelated to SHINee, but I'm ending this post on my new bias: Song! Joong! Ki! He's the current MC of Music Bank and he was in Triple. Currently has a cameo on Will it Snow for Christmas and I believe he's a regular on "Dream Team" with Minho. (You know how I know this? If you look up "Song Joong Ki" in Youtube, ALL YOU GET are Minho fancams where SJK also just happens to be standing next to him.) KBS Music Bank Xmas Special [ ] pretty_bp http://spazzes.wordpress.com/2009/12/25/kbs-music-bank-xmas-special/ http://spazzes.wordpress.com/?p=5440 If this picture is familiar, it’s because it’s the exact same one as last year; the holidays make me so lazy XDD.   But it’s the same message:  HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE ♥!  :)   I was just looking in the sidebar to see the number of posts written per month and they’ve been on a continuous decline, which sucks but I don’t get very spazzy over not-so-great stuff, which happened a lot this year in kpop D:.  But thanks so much to the commenters and anyone who still visits this place ♥ — for being comforting, for linking me to eyecandy when I need to think about something else, and, as always, for being awesome people to spazz with ♥!!   The first half of 2009 was awesome for kpop and I had a shitton of fun :). /cheese Anyway, Music Bank’s Christmas Special had some pretty awesome performances~~~~ ♥ Super Junior – Sorry Sorry Remix.  Stage looks sooooooooooo empty without Kibum, Kangin, Hankyung, and Heechul (why is Heechul not there…!), but the boys still did a great job imo.  I love this remix.  And it makes me all happy and tingly inside when I think about their comeback with this song in March :DD.  EPIC, I love these boys ♥. ♥ MBLAQ + BEAST Special Dance Stage.  If anyone wants to link me to pimp posts for these two groups, PLEASE DO :DD.  fruityrose linked me to a bunch of BEAST stuff and I really like their music from what I’ve heard so far; haven’t really listened to MBLAQ at all (although I do know what their name stands for and it makes me LOL and LOL and LOL :DD) but they seem like cuties.  :)  Here they dance to some of the biggest kpop hits this year and then collaborate in their own songs: Mystery and G.O.O.D Luv. ♥ t-ara – Bo Peep Bo Peep.  I love them but get secondhand embarrassment when I see them perform this song.  Isn’t that terrible XDDD.   But seriously their outfits are so cutesy overkill and I thought their MV was 19+ … no middle ground, eh?  Even though their lives could be better, I think they’re a vocally strong group and their album is one of my favorites all year ♥.  (And ‘Good Person’ is totally one of the best ballads all year, imo.) ♥ Brown Eyed Girls – Abracadabra.  They had a huge year with ‘Abracadabra’ ♥♥♥♥ (not to mention their whole third album, albeit short on songs, was close to perfect).  Super proud of them.  This is not their best performance (Ga In sounds tired and Je-A’s mic isn’t working in the beginning, I think), but they still sound and look lovely ♥ :).  Gooooo, BEG! ♥ f(x) – Chu~.  Not a fan of this song, but I love the performances of this song :D.  I love their performances in general even though they only have like two songs by them that I really like (‘Chocolate Love’ and ‘Difficult But Easy’) cause all five of them are good performers and easy on the eyes too XD.  I don’t know how it happened, but I think I’m obsessed with Krystal lol.  *kicks self* NO TO THE 15 YEAR OLDS D:.  But yeah, they’re all so pretty and idk I really like them.  They need way better songs though. ♥ 2NE1 – Fire + I Don’t Care.  Another girl group that had a HUGE year ♥.   I love that Dara brought back the hair she had when they first debuted; they’ve come so far since then :D.  I loved the ‘I Don’t Care’ performance especially. ♥ 2PM – Silent Night + Again&Again + Heartbeat.  I was really worried for their future as a group when Jay left, but it seems like they’ve been still going strong :).  I still want Jay to come back though D:.  Other than the Jay issue, I think they had a huge year in music and fandom.   The more I listen to their album, the more I like it :D.  Love the ‘Heartbeat’ performance … I didn’t know they were alternating who gets “killed” at the end until one of my friends pointed it out like “… I think they’re probably going to bust out knives in the final performance…” lol. ♥ SHINee – Ring Ding Dong (feat. f(x)).  I’m so glad they’re performing this and not Juliette lol.  Awesome performance as always; they don’t disappoint.  f(x) joins them for the dance at the end, but they don’t sing :(.  Still, the girls did an awesome job with the Ring Ding Dong dance, which is imo pretty complicated.  They’re cute together :D. ♥ SNSD – Gee (feat. f(x) and SHINee).   I think SNSD had the biggest year out of any girlgroup, congrats to them :D!!  I liked ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ even more than ‘Gee’, but I can’t deny that ‘Gee’ is one of the biggest kpop hits this year.  f(x) and SHINee are super cute when they join in at the end for the last part of the dance and for Jingle Bell Rock.  Jonghyun and Amber make my day :D! ♥ After School – Because Of You.  I love their outfits :D.  And I love the two new songs on their mini-album, although I hope whatever they promote next is more in the vein of ‘Ah’ lmao.  There isn’t another group that does that eurodance stuff and the After School members dance better than any other girlgroup. ♥ Seungyeon, UEE, Ga In, Hyuna – Girls4.  Watching those variety shows made me love Hyuna, lol.  She’s cute.  And hot here.  Also petite girls wearing oversized men’s dress shirts are totally one of my kinks so OMG GA IN ♥___♥! ♥ Davichi – Hot Stuff + 8282.   Perfect ♥.  IMO there is no other girl group that can match them in terms of vocals. ♥ Hwanhee + Kim Tae Woo – Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.  Two of the besttttttt voices in kpop!  DIVINE. ♥ Lyn + Hwanhee + Kim Tae Woo – Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.   If you throw Lyn into the mix, it only gets better ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.  I love her voice so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJr0L90X2lY

If you redeemed a coupon to upgrade your account and the balance at checkout was $0 instead of $9.95 or $15, this means your upgrade did not go through (nor were you charged). We've straightened this out, so you can now apply your holiday coupon toward the purchase of an annual paid account. If you tried to redeem a holiday coupon and had trouble using a gift certificate to cover the balance of an annual paid account, we identified the root problem. If this happened to you, you can now use your holiday coupon together with your gift certificate. If the number of holiday coupons you have available suddenly goes up (instead of down), this might be due to recipients declining the coupons, at which point your pool of available coupons will be replenished and, therefore, increase. 12/22/09 the 5:36pm show.. Hello. I'm still alive! [ ] wwenzz Been having writer's block thus the lack in posts. Plus it's that time of the year when festive mood kicks in. So i've been really lazyyyyyyy and random on everything. This morning, i felt like this. The weather was perfect for snoozing and i almost couldn't get out of the bed. When i got to work, things were moving so slowly that i've the time to put together a mini x'mas tree. Tada! End product. Yesterday was rather quiet and mundane too. Good thing Daniel bro swung by for lunch else i would have been bored to death. Lunch was a tasty bowl of seafood-based ramen and 2 plates of gyoza at Menya Shinchan. After lunch drinks were x'mas coffee at TCC. Ahhh, it was a gooooood break! Okay, here's another random. Last sat, i finally set my arse down at TWG for a pot of Sweet France tea and strawberry + marshmallow tart. It gonna be my next favourite place for high tea cos everything's nice, even the service too. 7

I like a lot of kpop groups, but as you all know, I’m really partial to DBSK and Super Junior (+ all subgroups).   And they both had a great first half of 2009, but wow are things going down the shitter or what.  Not to mention all the other crappy stuff that happened this year, like Wonbin leaving F.T Island and Jaebum leaving 2PM (and I just got into this year a;sldkfj NOOOO) and … seriously this is such bullshit.  I’ve tried and am still trying really hard to be optimistic, but WHAT THE HELL KPOP STOP KILLING OFF MY FANDOMS. I know that all boybands won’t last forever, but there’s too much happening too fast.  And all the same time!  DAMMIT.

Dramas in retrospect: Good vs. bad [ ] fangirltainment [zerohundred] [ music | F.T Island - 바래 | Powered by Last.fm ] When I think back on dramas I've seen, I usually find myself feeling either sentimental or nauseated. Weird reactions? Let me explain. For some dramas, I can't help but remember all the really good moments. Even if it was generally a terrible drama, if there was some redeeming factor about it that prevails, that's what will remain in my heart. For other dramas, I can only remember the depressing and disheartening. These might include some I originally counted as favorites! I wanted to go back and list five for each feeling--just for the heck of it. The good and the bad. I chose dramas I originally rated three stars or higher in "lovability." I didn't reread any of my old reviews for reference. Also, these are in no particular order. Have fun! ( Good ) ( Bad ) What do you think? Let me know if you can relate or if you think I'm crazy! 4
